Effusion and Fragrance Lamps

Purify and freshen the air with a new home accessory from Tear Catcher Gifts. Our new fragrance lamps from Lampe Avenue are decorative glass lamps that destroy odors from pets, cigarette smoke, and cooking, leaving the air in your home refreshingly purified and lightly fragranced.

When filled with fragrance fuel and lit, the lamps’ catalytic burner oxidizes air particles, destroying unwanted odors. You’ll have peace of mind at a moment’s notice when wet dogs, lingering cigar smoke, or the recollection of last night’s fried fish don’t concern you (or your drop-in company) any longer.

Tear Catcher offers a variety of fragrance lamps in different colors, sizes, and prices. The lamps are hand made and do vary somewhat in coloration. Each lamp is accompanied by a 8-oz. bottle of fragrance fuel. You can easily add an additional 16 oz. bottle to your order as well.

Some fragrances invoke memories of wafting clean linens at a beautiful hotel, an evening at the movies with hot buttered popcorn, or even a stroll past a flowering wisteria vine. We even have a special fragrance fuel called “Don’t Bug Me” that can be burned outdoors; it emits a slight citronella fragrance to ward off pesky insects.

To Use: Simply remove the decorative crown and the cap; fill the lamp with a fragrance of your choice; insert the wick and burner into the lamp, allowing the wick to soak 20 to 30 minutes; light the burner and let the lamp flame burn 2 to 5 minutes; blow out the flame; and allow the lamp to function for an 30 – 60 minutes. To stop the fragrance, recap the lamp.
